The Chattahoochee County community is gearing up for one of its biggest and most anticipated events of the year as the 6th Annual PEPSI Chattahoochee International Pro Rodeo returns on October 9th and 10th, 2026. This year’s event carries special significance, aligning with the nation’s celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, making it a truly historic occasion.

Branded as “1776–2026: The All-American Rodeo — America’s Original Sport,” the 2026 rodeo will not only showcase top-tier professional rodeo competition but also serve as a tribute to the deep-rooted traditions of American culture. Widely regarded as one of the country’s oldest organized sports, rodeo traces its origins back to the working skills of cowboys and ranchers in the 19th century, evolving into a celebrated form of competition and entertainment.
Now in its sixth year, the Chattahoochee International Pro Rodeo has grown into the largest annual event in the county, drawing attendees from across the region, including families, rodeo fans, and military personnel from nearby Fort Benning. Each year has seen record-breaking attendance and increasing community impact, with local organizations, school programs, and nonprofits benefiting from the event’s continued success.
The rodeo will feature two nights of high-energy action, including bull riding, barrel racing, bronc riding, and more, along with family-friendly entertainment, food vendors, and a patriotic atmosphere that celebrates the spirit of America. Past events have also included large-scale fireworks displays and interactive experiences, with organizers currently working to finalize entertainment elements for this year’s production.
As the presenting sponsor, Pepsi returns for 2026, bringing continued support and enhanced branding to the event. From arena signage to marketing campaigns, Pepsi’s involvement helps elevate the rodeo experience for attendees while strengthening community partnerships.
Beyond the arena, the rodeo plays a vital role in supporting local initiatives. Community groups such as the Chattahoochee Historical Preservation Society, school athletic teams, including the Chattahoochee County High School baseball program, participate in fundraising efforts during the event, while organizations like the Chattahoochee County Historical Society have benefited significantly from its growth and outreach.
Event organizers emphasize that the 2026 rodeo is more than just entertainment—it’s a celebration of American identity.
“This year is about honoring 250 years of freedom and showcasing one of America’s original sports,” organizers shared. “The rodeo represents hard work, grit, and tradition—values that are deeply connected to our country’s history.”
With its unique blend of heritage, competition, and community spirit, the 6th Annual PEPSI Chattahoochee International Pro Rodeo is expected to be the largest and most meaningful event in its history.
Tickets, event details, and updates will be available soon. Attendees are encouraged to mark their calendars and prepare for a weekend that promises excitement, patriotism, and unforgettable rodeo action.
